Normally the depth of the sealing should be about half the width of the joint. Polyethylene foam is unaffected by solvents contained in the primers, but it is a good idea never to apply the adhesion promoter Protech Flex Primer on Filtene Fondogiunto, in order not to alter the anti-adherence properties. FILTENE can then be inserted into the joint after applying the primer, when the "dust-free time" is attained.
